How You Can Make A Difference

The Parish is involved in a wide range of ministries aimed at equipping it's ten member churches for ministry, both within their congregations and in the communities that they serve. Some Parish mission projects reach beyond its geographical area. There are several ways that you support these ministries as an individual, through your church, organizations or businesses.

Donations are tax-exempt in that the Parish is a mission agency of The North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church and thereby granted 501-C3 status.

The Parish is an Advance Special of the General Church and the North Alabama Conference.

Types of donations that are accepted include cash, stocks & bonds, good used clothing & household items, furniture, good magazines, canning jars and supplies, good seed, fertilizer & gardening supplies, building supplies, vehicles (vans, cars, trucks, etc...), toys (new for Christmas Ministries), and land for Heart & Hand Homes.

Volunteers for a week, several weeks, a day or even for a few hours are all an important part of the ministry to "make a difference."
